National Accounts Outside Sales Representative – Dallas-Fort Worth, TX


We are looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative who is driven, organized and can balance multiple projects in a fast-paced, team environment. DuraServ is a large regional distributor of commercial door and loading dock equipment. With 16 locations across the United States, DuraServ provides sales, service and installation of premiere brand products to our customers. Most work is self performed with our own technicians and our regional and national service is growing through our National Accounts Team. To support and help grow this business, we are looking for an Outside Sales Representative.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Proactively learning the products that DuraServ sells
  • Building key customer relationships with new and existing client base and internal technician workforce
  • Preparing proposals to key accounts customers based on field technicians’ summary of requirements
  • Clarifying customer’s application requirements as needed
  • Proactively work to understand customer needs and provide feedback and/or collaborate with other functions to exceed customer key performance indicators
  • Flexible availability to meet customer requirements
  • Special projects as may be required based on customer’s needs

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years outside sales experience
  • Commercial overhead door or dock equipment industry knowledge
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with effective follow-up skills
  • Strong verbal and written skills, with both internal and external customers

Education

College degree preferred
